BEFORE YOUR FIRST LOGIN
A few useful answers.
Built to simplify access while keeping you in charge of the portal.
Visit the help centreWill it log in to every website automatically?
Supported login fields are filled on the selected site. You complete CAPTCHA or OTP yourself. The GST pilot uses manual submission. New sites may need one-time field setup; complex or changed forms can require manual login.
What if another customer is already signed in?
When the extension detects an existing or uncertain session, choose a private window, logout and switch, or cancel. Private windows require Chrome’s Allow in Incognito setting. Another open private session may need to be closed or logged out first.
Can I save other portals and my firm’s own accounts?
Yes. Choose an available site preset or Other site. Save separate entries for different customers, GSTINs and accounts. Choose My firm for your own credentials. Sites without a supported mapping may need one-time autofill setup.
Who can access the saved passwords?
Vault access is for the CA firm owner and requires an active SumGST session. Customers, staff and platform administrators cannot retrieve these passwords. Credentials are encrypted on the server; revealing or copying requires recent verification with your CA password.
What happens when a password changes?
Change the password on the original portal, then edit the saved entry in SumGST. Editing a vault entry does not change the external site’s password.
How do I update or reconnect the extension?
For this early-access download, replace the files in your installed extension folder with the latest extracted files, then click Reload in Chrome’s Extensions page. If connection fails, sign in as your CA owner and use Connect browser in Portal Vault. Signing out of SumGST blocks new vault access; sign out of external portals separately.
